I have had a lovely day off from working today. I have indulged in pringles and Doritos’ salsa dip. Amongst other things, I tried to finish off one of my images. I’m attempting to get my hands dirty with the seriously hardcore features of Adobe products and several other vector imaging applications.
I’m attempting to draw a compass with a nice gold sheen and a little needle in the middle. “Cute”, as my girlfriend coined it. Of course I returned with a, it’s not cute! “It’s learning whilst creating a nice icon.” She wasn’t convinced. Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to save my work when it totally tilted.
It is a nice example but I believe some of the dimensions are slightly off centre. I’m going to re-open the design tomorrow and finish it off and alter the orientation. I think I’ll have to make use of this logo somehow. I was thinking of creating a new style to bring on the new year… I’m tempted.
I have no predictions only fact. I would not wish to deceive you by saying that I am interested or in agreement with any of the predictions that I have been reading. I do believe that this year is going to be a good year for me though. I wish everyone the best in this year to come
I finish with a small note from when the great Sir Tim Berners-Lee who was asked what helped him to conceive the WWW:
…Anyone who has lost track of time when using a computer knows the propensity to dream, the urge to make dreams come true, and the tendency to miss lunch.
